The coursework mentioned above are the daily assignments students need to work on. These assignments will be found on the whiteboard, and will include future work assignments so you may work ahead. Students work at own pace and are allowed to get help from neighbors. Any coursework assignment found to be wrong during the semester can be made up if brought to me in a timely fashion.

As the majority of students become finished with the coursework assigned Chapter tests will be given. Test dates will be told to students two or three class days prior to the actual test.

Chapter 10 September

    Do all of the practices except 8, Practice 1, 5, and 7 will be checked (Don't forget just like in Basic Computer Apps you need to do all of the problems 1,5 and 8 are only the final products of your work.)

Brochure Using Publisher 

You have just been hired by ________________(insert name)  Tour Company.  This tour company offers 3 vacation packages to __________________(insert country).   Design a brochure describing the company and these 3 vacation packages.

 Criteria

•  Your brochure must include the following
• Pictures from the internet. (with captions)
• 1 Scanned picture( with caption) scanner is in the teacher's office...see me for help
• 2 pieces of Word Art (using Word)
• Borders
• Shading (like Background pictures)
• A Company logo like McDonald's Golden Arches, AT&T's Globe, and Nike's Swoosh designed by you using Paint and/or Word Art.
• Valuable statistics like Antarctica was voted best vacation site for members of WOTA
• Professional looking
• Catch phrase ex: Hawaii You’ll live for this
